My Experience - Real Estate Comps from Realtor?
I am interested in selling my home and I had a local real estate agent pull comps in my area. I had in my mind a price and she told me there was NO way I was going to sell my home for what I thought it was worth. She had comps to back it up. I also called ANOTHER real estate agent to compare advice.
The first realtor then came back and pulled higher comps to retain my business!!! Is this normal? I understand that agents want to sell a home fast but it seems like she doesn’t have my best interest in hand.
Also, she is pulling comps up to 25 miles away from my home, which is futher from a large metropolitan area.
